The penultimate amuse-bouche to the Season Preview that you might well be getting a little bored of by now focuses on the specially commissioned quintent of articles that may have gone unnoticed in the midst of the club-by-club chow down.

Rob Langham, aka Lanterne Rouge, exploited his day job experience as a Commissioning Editor of books to hook in five writers to this section. Composer Kerry Andrew [1]was signed up for the opening piece and, somewhat ironically, Kerry brings her own 9-5 role to the table as she considers the parallels between classical music and terrace chants. Following this, Williams Abbs proffers the fruits of his painstaking research on the first Spanish players in the Football League in a marvellous article that wouldn’t look out of place in The Blizzard [2].

Third up is a quite ingenious 5-point plan for relegated EPL clubs looking to jump directly back to the Big Money from our good friends Ben and Paul over at Black & White [7]. West Ham will do well to take heed of point four.

Finally, Daniel Griffin [8]recounts the first trip to Gibraltar by a professional English team since the early 90s before I myself round things off with as close an analysis of the Bloom millions down at Brighton as Google and unsubstantiated stories from mystery insiders allows.
