Tottenham’s £10m acquisition of those Kyles is complete. Showing scant regard for last season’s debate on the unrelenting growth of Premiership squads, ‘Arry’s double signing sees seven full backs in competition for two places. The White Hart Lane faithful will be hopeful that their capture will prove to be slightly more successful than Spurs’ last foray into the Championship transfer market.

I didn't understand the Gunter signing – he didn't get a sniff. Suppose the Kyles might have a chance of a game now he's gone, Hutton could be on his way out, and Corluka is likely to start the season in the centre as they have so few fit central defenders.
