Rare does a publication as esteemed as the New York Times afford a profile to a player from our modest Coca Cola Championship, but today’s issue contains a smashing write up profiling Watford defender Jay DeMerit. There’s nothing to quibble with in a very well researched article including accounts of his time at Southall and Northwood and soundbites from the man himself, whose obvious friendly demeanour reflects his polished and professional displays on the pitch.
