BARNSLEY
Most consecutive second tier games without failing to score (44 between 2nd October 1926 and 8th October 1927).
BIRMINGHAM CITY
Won the first-ever second division title in 1892/3.
BLACKPOOL
Only Championship team so far this season to have won a league game by five goals away from home (5-0 at Leeds United, 2nd November 2011).
BRIGHTON
Hosted the only 3-3 draw in the Championship so far this season (3-3 v Leeds United, 23rd September 2011).
BRISTOL CITY
Joint record holders for the longest winning run in the second tier (14 wins between 9th September and 2nd December 1905) – joint with Manchester United (1904/5) and Preston North End (1950/1).
BURNLEY
First current Championship club to win the top flight (1920/1 season).
CARDIFF CITY
Most consecutive second tier away games without a win (44 between 16th October 1971 and 17th November 1973).
COVENTRY CITY
Only team not to have scored three goals in any Championship game so far this season.
CRYSTAL PALACE
Most consecutive home draws (7 between 28th November 1998 and 13th February 1999).
DERBY COUNTY
Have more league points in history than any other current Championship team (5006 from 4509 games).
DONCASTER ROVERS
Have lost all six games away from home against teams currently in the top half of the Championship. All other teams have gained at least a point from away games against teams in the top half.
HULL CITY
Worst League Cup record of any current Championship club (equivalent of 1.06 points per game).
IPSWICH TOWN
Have accumulated more second tier points in the last ten years than any other team (626 from 436 games).
LEEDS UNITED
Joint record holders for most clean sheets in a row (9 between 3rd March and 14th April 1928) – joint with Chelsea (1905).
LEICESTER CITY
Have won the second tier six times, more than any other current Championship club. Only Manchester City (seven) have won more second tier titles.
MIDDLESBROUGH
Have the best record in the Championship away from home against top half teams (13 points from six games).
MILLWALL
Only Championship team to be involved in four goalless draws so far this season.
NOTTINGHAM FOREST
Have won more FA Cup games than any other current Championship club – 156 wins from 371 games.
PETERBOROUGH UNITED
Best FA Cup record of any current Championship team – 1.67 points per game (343 points from 205 games).
PORTSMOUTH
Only team in the Championship not to have scored in two consecutive away games so far this season.
READING
Only team not to concede three goals or more in any Championship game so far this season.
SOUTHAMPTON
Only team in the Championship to average more than two goals per game (47 goals from 23 games).
WATFORD
Joint record most consecutive home defeats (9 between 4th December 1971 and 31st March 1972) – joint with Darwen (1897/8).
WEST HAM UNITED
More Premier League points than any other current Championship club (764 points from 616 games).
